South Africa's signature - Pinotage. This characterful Pinotage is the signature of Bellingham winery in South Africa. Bellingham winery was founded in 1693, and kept developing and extending their cellars over the centuries. Up until today they are still firmly standing in Franschhoek Valley and producing contemporary and structured wines with an unmistakable sense of manner and style. The Bellingham Pinotage has an intense dark red color with notes of juicy raspberry, strawberry and black cherry, and is supported by a well-integrated oak spice. Good to pair with flavorful dishes and barbecued meat like lamb, venison and spare ribs.

An Italian in Argentina, if that doesn't make for an exciting wine! Don Fioravante Sottano - originated from Italy, settled at the foot of the Andes mountains in Mendoza, Argentina in 1890. His winery has become a traditional household name ever since. All grapes are hand-picked, and you can definitely taste that dedication. The Malbec grape originates in France, but nowadays more than 75% of the Malbec wines are produced in Argentina. The temperature difference between day and night ensures a slow ripening process, which results in the diversity of aromas in the wine. Heavily dependent on where they are grown for variations in flavor. Argentinian Malbec has quickly become a world favorite because of their unique characteristics. In Sottano Malbec you will find aroma of ripe red fruit like plum and raspberries as well as complexity of chocolate and vanilla with a touch of oak. Good to pair with beef, lamb and poultry.

Merlot - One of the most popular red wine in the world. The vineyard of Château Le Grand Verdus is located in the heart of the Entre-Deux-Mers- well known as a Bordeaux wine growing region. The winery is run by the Le Grix De La Salle family who all shared the same passion for wine since 1810. The wine is rich and round, full of intense delicate flavors with aroma of fresh fruits, spices and liquorice. Good to pair with grilled or roasted beef, veal, duck and mushroom.

Don't be surprised if you never heard of Mencia. It only grows in Spain and Portugal on the Iberian peninsula. Bierzo wasn’t famous as a wine region untill the 1990s. Not so surprising, since the name of the region is simply more reminiscent of a different drink. The Merayo family rediscovered the area and planted red Mencía and white Godello grapes on their winery. Since then, the Mencía grape has been here to stay. Bodegas Merayo’s “Las Tres Filas” Mencia, flavor profile-wise, is somewhere between a Pinot Noir and Cabernet Franc. It got a cherry red color with clear and violet tones. This Las Tres Fillas Mencia tastes fresh with notes of berries, pomegranate and is slightly smokey. It’s rounded, silky and elegant on the palate. Good to pair with poultry.

Primitivo is a red wine grape variety that is also known as Zinfandel. It is the third-most planted grape in Puglia, southern Italy. This grape loves heat and grows best in low-lying vineyards.
